SNOWSHOE OR HIKING ADVENTURES
Hikes for every taste — designed to help you (re)discover the joy of the mountains, whether on snowshoes or on foot when the snow is scarce.
Alone, with family, or among friends, the stunning and unspoiled scenery of the Haute Chaîne du Jura invites you to slow down, reconnect, and breathe in the fresh mountain air!
When snow cover is limited, hikes are done on foot — there is still so much beauty to discover in our mountains.
For the 2025–2026 season, snowshoe outings will be scheduled on demand, as full-day or half-day adventures.
- Tracks and Animal Clues Outing
- Sunset Hike
- Full Moon Outing
- Fondue Evening
OUR ETHICAL APPROACH
Winter is a sensitive season for wildlife and plant life, despite their many adaptations.
Most animals must cope with food shortages while facing snow, cold, and predators — their survival depends on a fragile balance.
Our mountain ranges include protected zones, such as biotope protection orders (APPB) and nature reserves, which help reduce disturbance to wildlife.
The Haute Chaîne du Jura National Nature Reserve is a prime example, covering much of the area where we operate.
As mountain professionals, we are committed to respecting these regulations and raising awareness among our participants about their importance.
To further reduce our impact, most of our outings start from the La Vattay Nordic Center, minimizing travel.
